I love telling humanized news stories. I am able to put a face on the stories that may be hard to explain. Facts of a news story are one thing, but who does it really affect? That's what I try to answer in a day turn story. I know how to get the job done accurately. My stand-ups are also something I also use to not only show creativity, but add something to the story.





Downtown Columbia to get More Cameras

This is a follow up from a story I reported on in late 2008. The city is now looking to add three additional security camera units. I found a woman who was robbed and hopes the new cameras catch crooks.

 


 

Consumers are Purchasing More Durable Goods

In February 2009, durable goods sales were up. Customers at a local Home Depot bought more appliances and furnishings for their homes. I investigate why customers are making these type of purchases even in a down economy.

 









401st Multi-Role Bridge Company Practices on Missouri River

A local Army Reserve company was practicing before shipping off to Iraq. I had to be able to shoot quick shots of the action for this on air package because the training exercise was so fast.
